About The Library

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Practice becomes your Habit & Ethics and Values becomes your behaviour.

  • Silence must be maintained inside the library.
  • All the users of the Library are required to keep their bags, cases, folders and other belongings at the property counter before entering the library.
  • Only laptop, tab, ipad, notebooks will be allowed inside for academic purposes.
  • Do not leave any valuables at the property counter.
  • Any food item is not allowed inside the library.
  • Library Membership Card is compulsory for getting access to the library resources.
  • Record your details in the user attendance register at the Information Desk.
  • After your study is over you should keep the books taken for reference on the Circulation Desk. You may  reshelve them yourself at its exact location on the shelf to help the other users get the required book again after you.Do not misplace it.
  • Handling books and other resources with care and concern is must.The replacement cost of the resource may be charged as per rule if the user mutilates or damages any book or other resources.
  • Books borrowed from the library should be used with proper care and concern.
  • All the books issued to the students must be returned before the due date to avoid a fine. Reminder messages will be sent for overdue books after 15 days.
  • Library clearance is mandatory for students before the tenure of completion of study in this institution otherwise admit card/mark sheet will be kept on hold till the Library Clearance Certificate is produced at the College office.
  • Any overdue books and fine must be cleared before renewal of cards for the next semester.
  • Library furniture,computers, printers,etc should be used with proper care and concern.
  • The books and notebooks must be produced at the Information Desk while leaving the library.

 

Rules for ONLINE RESOURCES AND ICT Gadgets usage:

 

  • WIFI Access for academic use only.
  • Use of the internet service on computers is only permitted for academic purposes.
  • The online documents must be used after checking for appropriate statements indicating copyright ownership.
  • Publishing of the contents from the library webpage is strictly prohibited.The contents of the library web page may be used for educational purposes.
  • Do not install any software into Library computers.
  • Do not remove any connected device from computers.
