AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

“The Alumni Association of Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya (SGM) comprises an informal community of students who have graced the halls of this esteemed institution. Its primary goal is to nurture lifelong connections among alumni, providing a platform for networking, professional growth, and continued engagement with the Alma Mater.”

Aims and Objectives:

  • Promote mutually beneficial interaction between the Alumni and the Alma Mater.
  • Encourage Alumni to take an abiding interest in the development of the Alma Mater, society, and the country.
  • Undertake activities related to nation-building, including charitable initiatives.
  • Exchange professional knowledge, collaborate with industries, and organize technical conferences, seminars, workshops, and training courses.
  • Equip present students with technical knowledge and soft skills through lectures and demonstrations by alumni.
  • Generate a corpus for the College to improve educational, technical, and other facilities.
  • Run the Association on a ‘no profit no loss’ basis.
  • Support activities benefiting Alumni, students, and faculty as decided by the Executive Committee.
  • Spread the mission and vision of the College.
  • Create awareness about the College and its alumni in the public.
  • Undertake lawful activities conducive to achieving the above objectives.
